I'm getting on the bus nervous, pulled up trying to get focused on going to LA for re first game of the season. Almost everyone on our team is messing around saying dumb stupid stuff it almost seems like we’re going on a field trip and not a football game. I just put my AirPods in and worry about myself and what I’m going to do in this game and how imma play. Our team finally got there but were hella early so we were sitting in the stands and everyone was starting to lock in finally, of course, a few kids are messing around but are coaches finally told them to shut up and get ready. We finally start warming up we got music on our team all getting hyped up and finally starting to look like a team. Before the game starts are coaches get us all together telling us a little prey game speech and when I tell you this speech got me ready for this game I mean it was crazy! Knocked all the nerves right out of me I just wanted to get out there and get the ball in my hands and do what I do best. The game is about to start the other team is kicking off to us. I’m the guy in the very back right trying to return the ball. The whistle is blown everything I was thinking about before all went away my mind was blank only football now. The ball was kicked! I see it coming my way I take a step forward getting the ball I take a big cut outside going to the right going down the sideline. I end up getting like 25/30 yard return then get pushed out of balance. The first two plays were rough. I ran a speed out I got the ball thrown to me and I took it up the field for ten yards to get the first down it didn’t help much we turned over the ball and they got it. Our defense was doing all right and held them the first time to get the offense the ball back but our offense didn’t do anything again. Not going so well right for our team right now. The other team’s offense is catching passes on our defense and they ended up getting a touchdown on us. We get back on offense and are starting Qb gets hurt and I’m the backup! I get in at Qb and they put me on a Qb sneak I almost get a touchdown but I get down at the 1-yard line and hand the ball off to our running back and we score the first touchdown of the season. they stopped us on the extra point it’s 6-6 right now. I start roughly at Qb but I ended up throwing and touchdown to our inside receiver on a wheel route before the half ended. Coming out into the second half they score and we get back on offenses and one of the receiver ran the wrong route and I threw a Pick and they get the ball back. The defense holds them and we come out running a trick play and i threw the best throw of my life for a long touchdown and we get the 2-point conversion. It was just we score they score till the end it was 30-28 and the other team got the ball and the other team’s Qb rolled out and goes for the deep past and our defense intercepts the ball for the win 30-28. By, now our team is 3-0 we were just blowing out teams on to are 4th game vs Oxnard in Oxnard are 4th away game in a row last one till we have a home game. Coming into this game we knew we were going to win this game but I don’t think like that. They kick off to us and it’s coming to me I didn’t half to move to get it, it came right to me I return it get a good amount of yards. The first play is a Y jet to me I get the ball handed to me and take it up field of the first down right after that we run a deep play to are outside receiver for a deep touchdown. The defense holds them to 4th in long they got to punt the ball I’m back to return it. They kick it to I see I have time to return it and I take it took a hard cut outside to the left and ran down the sideline out running everyone all I had to do is beat the kicker and I have the touchdown I did a little stutter step and cut back up and burned him for a 86 yard punt return. The defense holds them again they end up holding them all well they didn’t score once they got a few passes off on us but that’s it. I end up catching another touchdown on a corner route and I caught it over the defender’s head for the touchdown before the half ended I caught another touchdown on a deep wheel route for the touchdown! I had 3 touchdowns in the first half. In the second half are defense got a pick 6 and other people score but then are coach called me in a bender which is a corner post route and I caught it in the middle of the field for a DEEP touchdown 4th of the night! This was the best game I have ever played SO far.
Our team kept winning and blowing out teams. Are game VS Buena was close but we still came out on top and took the win. It’s our last game we are still undefeated. The last game we play are rivals San Marcos last year we played them twice they won the first one we won the second one so we are 1 and 1 right now. It’s the same old stuff with our team getting on the bus. It’s our last game and people messing around saying dumb stuff not getting focused or anything seemed like half of our team wasn’t ready to play. When warm-ups started. I started to see a change in the way they were playing and acting. Then I saw we all looked ready to play. Kick-off was about to start. They kick-off to our team me and Dj are back to return it, It’s a bad kick but rolls to me I pick it up. I had to run outside right to the sideline. If I would of went straight I would have gotten killed but after going outside I got a big return. Are offenses started slow? QB wasn’t playing the best but he finally hit me on a long pass with me catching the ball over his head! We run the ball get a few more yards then I run a wheel route and are Qb laird throws me on a jump ball I go up and get it over his head! For the touchdown. The defense was holding them all game got close a few times but never scored this game was getting heated everyone is talking shit and there were almost so fights, someone got thrown out of the game. I got a few more catches I think I had a pretty good game. The game ended up being 20-0. It was a crazy ride I had so much fun my coaches were the best they pushed me to be my best they were my best coaching staff and season so far. Our team ended up going 10-0 are coaches have been undefeated for 3 seasons.
